I have been a massive Tales of the Abyss fan since playing it on 3DS (living in the EU means I never had the chance to play it originally on the PS2). It took me a long time to really become absorbed in the game because Luke is such an idiot for the first arc but once he learns the error of his ways he becomes a really likable character. In fact he is one of my favourite Tales characters […]
I haven’t posted nearly as many Play Arts posts as I own so here’s a preview of my set up. In time hopefully I’ll post some reviews/more photos of each individual figure. I do have some figures which aren’t included in this display (sadly I have hardly any room!). Enjoy!

This version of Cloud is taken from the Kingdom Hearts series. He has one articulate black wing (which I absolutely love!) to match Sephiroth (who also has one black wing as well). This is probably my favourite version of Cloud, he just looks so awesome with his wing and his rugged cape! He is very sturdy too compared to other Play Arts I’ve got. I haven’t got too much more to say about this figure, so just enjoy the photos!
Auron was yet another purchase without the box. I don’t usually make a habit of this (I’m a bit of a sucker for packaging) but this came with a large bundle I brought. Like with Tidus and Yuna (also in this series), Auron is very detailed but suffers from lack of articulation due to one arm being in his coat. His other arm suffers from the same issue as Yuna’s (it has an unusual pin-like joint so it falls off […]
I brought Yuna along with Tidus unboxed and as seen in the photos. I think the detail is lovely on her but the thing which ruins this figure for me is her arms. They are just so poor. They have a ‘pin’ type joint (I don’t know the technical name) and there is a reason why this type of joint doesn’t appear on any other Play Arts series (as far as I am aware!): her arms just drop off when […]
When I created this blog I told myself I’d restrict it to just reviewing merchandise but now it’s my one year anniversary (3 days late, my apologies) I can’t help but reflect on how far things have come over that time. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted my own website. I’m pretty nifty with HTML and Photoshop but I never really got the right thing to write about. I tried to make both gaming sites […]

I almost imploded when I heard there would be a Terra figure made. I am a huge FFVI fan and have been extremely disappointed with the lack of any recent figures. I brought this one off play.com at a very good price not too long ago. I don’t usually buy Trading Arts as I prefer to spend the extra money and get a fully articulate figure but of course that wasn’t an option with Terra. Her detail was surprisingly good […]
