I own so many Play Arts figures yet have barely published any yet so apologies for that! Here is my Lightning figure. Sadly I don’t have my XIII Lightning here for a comparison but I will be putting up some photographs of that at some point in the future! Lightning looks very polished in this figure. The detail is outstanding and reflects the very painful price (it would not surprise me if the word Kai translated to double price in […]
I loved the promotional artwork for XIII-2 so these two plastic wallets were an instant buy. I own the XIII set of wallets too (listed earlier in this blog).
I knew little about Type-0 when I ordered this wallet (and regretably didn’t bothered to pick up any other merch on the title). I brought this on a whim as I really liked the artwork of Rem and Machina. Having now tried the game I kind of wish I had brought more Type 0 pieces.
I love the design of this little coin case, it’s made really well out of soft material. Unfortunately Square didn’t put a zip on it and there doesn’t seem to be much space for coins inside (you’d have a job getting them out, providing they didn’t fall out beforehand!). It’s also a little too bulky to go in a bag. I’d say this is more a decorative piece or something for a child to collect coins with as I can’t […]
This is the nicest collectors edition version of a game I have ever owned. For those who aren’t aware, there are three versions of this game. Standard, Collectors, and Crystal. This one (Crystal) has the game, full OST, t-shirt, art book, art print and postcards.

FFIX was the first FF game I both owned and completed so it’s always been a special game to me in terms of characters, storyline and music. The music in particular is so nostalgic and perfect that it comes very close to VI when I have to pick my favourite OST. Melodies of Life is definitely my favourite vocal piece from any Final Fantasy game. This set itself includes the complete soundtrack across 4 CDs, some really nice Amano prints […]

This moogle is from FFXIV (hence the bobble being yellow and not red!). I assume his name is Kulpu Kopo and is a character in XIV but I have since stopped subscribing to the game so am not 100% sure. Either way I have been very original and named mine Mog (surprise!). This is by far the cutest Moogle plush I have ever seen. He is just so cute and fluffy and is made from a very soft material. His […]
I don’t really go for soft toys usaully but I couldn’t resist this little Cactuar. He was expensive but he also looks and feels good quality. I expect a Cactuar to be prickly and the material used really reflects this (in a good way, you can still cuddle him). He’s also very rigid so he keeps his shape well.
-Oh my god- sums up this OST. It is so beautiful I don’t even know where to start! Right I’ll begin with the damage – the booklet this comes with is supposed to have the meteor logo on the cover but when Square designed this they made the meteor logo out of a type of glue. This melts and sticks to whatever is next to it if not stored well. It is very common among these OSTs and this one […]

FFVI is easily my favourite FF game so when this Japanese first print version released in 1994 came up for sale on Ebay I just had to grab it! This music is my absolute favourite from any FF and there is art by Amano in the liner notes which is a huge plus! The slip case has slightly discoloured but I fell it gives the set a more authentic feel. It contains 3 CDs with all the music from the […]
