With XIII-2 out now I thought I’d update with a few XIII themed bits. Here is the Japanese limited edition OST imported straight from Play-Asia. It differs from the standard version by including a special DVD containing some trailers. I have yet to watch it though as my DVD player wasn’t the right region! At some point I’ll view it on my Jap PS3!

The box is presented really nicely in a white case with Lightning and Caius outlined in a shiny pink, similar to the style on the Lightning PS3. The CDs are housed in high quality envelopes. I’ve taken many photos so check them out below!

There was also an artbook included in the set with some beautiful concept art and an interview with the composers. I’ve taken a few photos of some of the best pages.

As always the music is fantastic. I admit it’s different from older FF pieces, there is more techno and lyrical pieces but it’s still a good soundtrack.
